• YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT:
Your brand is only as good as you are
Take in current trends, local competition & Influencers to stay relevant

• READING IS SO 18TH CENTURY:
Surfing the internet for bits and pieces of useful information is like fast food, filling but not healthy
Buy books or subscribe to short courses to stay well rounded and ahead of the game

• A TABLET A DAY KEEPS THE BOREDOM AWAY:
Technology is great, but do not rule out analog processes.
There’s no substitute for  good old personal reflection

• SLEEP IS FOR CHAMPIONS:
Stay ‘woke!’ Complacency is a silent killer. If you feel like you’re coasting
try something different to attract new leads

• NO NEW FRIENDS:
Beware isolation. While you may feel you are always the best man for the job,
seek out new partners & collaborations, Outsource to specialists when you can
We all have blind spots, we all need a kick up the posterior on occasion

• IF GOD WANTED US TO EXERCISE,  WE WOULDN’T HAVE BUMS:
Test your brand. A brand audit can really help you gauge whether you are meeting your goals.
Find out from customers and employees whether your brand is achieving its goals.

More Christmas!

Christmas is here! I decided to read about the origins of Christmas. Quite an entertaining read. Basically told, at some point Christians took over what was a collection of  some pretty crazy pagan festival practices and repackaged them, no pun intended, maybe we can call it a rebrand! Anyhoo have another Desktop Wallpaper on me! ;0)
